Hi guys! In Nagoya at the moment, with my host family. I'm allowed to use their computer! So hello :D

The trip's been GREAT so far! I still need to send you guys postcards, ne. Oops, sorry D: Ne, so we flew to Narita Airport, then went to Hiroshima! Visited Miyajima Island, and the Itsukushima Shrine. IT'S SO COOL - they have deer (shika) walking around everywhere, and you can just walk right up to them and pat them and luvo with them! LOL! Hehehe.

We went to the Genpaku Dome and the Hiroshima Peace Museum as well. Kirei deshita, demo totemo sabishikute kanashikatta desu yo ne. :( BUT WE DID LOTS OF SHOPPING THOUGH! Hope you'll like your presents. Especially you, Lauren. I bought you a toilet.

Ne. My English level is like WAAAAAAAY down since I'm speaking Japanese all the time. So sorry about my weird syntax and grammar and whatever.

Fruit. (Apart from durian and dragonfruit! xD)

Books. (Check out 'The Messenger', by Markus Zusak. A bit of swearing, but very funny, and a really good message.)

A clean room. (I think everyone does, hehe.)

New things. (A new CD, a new friend, the list goes on.)

But also old things. (Like kindergarten photos, primary school artworks.)

Smiles. (Best thing for you to wear!)

Textas. (Weapons of mass destruction! I mean ... art.)

Creation. (No matter what the weather is, there's always some beauty.)

And these days, especially - friends. (That means YOU! xD)

It's all very nice to say I LOVE YOU and YOU'RE AWESOME, but really, thanks for listening, for being more than a person on my FB friends list.

I thank God all the time for the privilege of meeting you guys. And all the time, I pray that we can keep loving each other - even more! We're not perfect (no one is), but even so, it's been great so far! How much more can we become? Thanks for the memories.

Pray that we can travel further and grow, together. And maybe, one day, find something new.

i am thankful for ipt .
for teaching me so much .
( not just stuff about information systems and databases xD )

for times of stress that show me how little faith i have in God .
for times of hardship that make who we are .
for times of failure to remind me of not just how fail i am as a person ( and therefore should have no confidence in my own ability ( or lack , thereof ) ) , but how great and graceful God is , in lifting me up again .

overall , i do not regret taking it .
no matter how badly i do in it , it has taught me so much already .

i guess what ive always wanted to say but never have is that im glad .
to have met such a wonderful group of people that i never expected to ever share much more than a laugh with , let alone D&Ms .

I've Gotta Feeling...

Ah~ First post in the team blog. Thanks you setting this up guys. It'll be fun : )

Anywhose, on to my point. For the past few days, I've had this ill-at-ease feeling. Like this "knowing" that something bad is going to happen. Has anyone else had that? It can't just be me, can it? I'm not usually a negative or bleak person so it feels weird because I get this panicky anxiety when things aren't exactly right. For example, last night before I slept, I really felt it. I started taking notice to the meticulous things I did before I slept, usually I just do them and sleep. I had never before so I started feeling this kind of "pressure" on myself. I didn't relax until I had set up everything and was in bed snuggled up in my sheets. I also got it today at school...I don't remember when, but it felt like something was smothering me (like...restricting me so I couldn't do things that I enjoyed; sorta when you have an artistic moment, but no one will let you express yourself).

It could be the excitement of the holidays and exam stress setting in on my subconscious at the same time so I feel this weight on me that I've never felt before. So it'll either just take some time to get used to or pass over in a month. Possibly I'm developing a nervous disorder, which sure as hell is possible.

Today was a nice day though, wasn't it. I could have enjoyed it more, but overall I did try to make the best of what I could which is what counts. Organising luncheon has already got me worried about next year, though I am looking forward to year 11.

To finish on a positive note. Thanks for the good times you guys give, even during the bad times. You guys help me strive for a feeling of contentment everyday. Though, I know you guys would encourage me to strive high and tell me I'll get there, one day. That makes me ease up; even if its a little bit. You guys are great, never forget that. Loving you guys truly, madly, deeply.
